Q. WHAT’S THE BEST CHOICE? REPAIRING OR REPLACING A BROKEN APPLIANCE?

A. When it comes to broken appliance in your home there are two possible options. You can call for appliance repair and try to save money. If it is a success, you will be able to continue using your stove, freezer, refrigerator or washer and dryer. The second option is to buy a newer unit.

Your appliances have an expected lifetime. If it’s a broken appliance in the early or middle part of that average lifetime, we would recommend using Rhodes Appliance Repair. When the appliance is somewhere close to the end of its useful lifetime, we recommend replacing it with a newer model assuming your budget allows.

These are the expected lifetimes of each model of home appliances:

Dishwasher: 10 years
Washer: 11 years
Dryer: 14 years
Refrigerator: 15 years
Gas Ovens: 15 years
Electric Stove: 15 years
Freezer: 15 years

Q. DO YOU INCLUDE GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES?

A. Yes. We offer a warranty on parts and our labor. We use manufacturer parts for Whirlpool, GE, Wolf, York and most other major appliance brands to ensure we preserve the manufacturer’s warranty. Q. WILL YOU FIX MY APPLIANCE ON THE FIRST APPOINTMENT?

A. It’s always our goal to perform the repair during the first visit. Throughout the years we have been in business, we estimate that we are successful in repairing home appliances with just one visit around 90% of the time. We load almost all of the most common replacement parts in our service vans plus necessary tools to complete the repair. If we do need to return to complete the work, there won’t be any extra service fee.

Q. IS THERE A SERVICE WINDOW FOR AN APPOINTMENT?

A. When it is time to schedule a visit from Rhodes Appliance Repair, we will offer a two to three hour timeframe for when our repairman will arrive at your house. And, our repairmen will call 15 to 20 minutes before their arrival. We understand just how important our clients’ time is. So, we try our utmost to be prompt. Because some repair jobs take longer than anticipated, we give our technicians a little cushion to complete a previous job and not be behind schedule for the next job.
